Parkway Projects Limited Upgrades From ISO 9001:2000 QMS to ISO 9001:2008 QMS Certification

parkway-media-2-featured-imageLagos, March 2011: Parkway Projects Limited, the first indigenous IT Company in Nigeria to subject its quality system to receive the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification has upgraded to NIS ISO 9001:2008 QMS, thereby enhancing its operating processes and procedures.

The recertification by the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) is a confirmation of Parkway’s commitment to ensuring excellence customer service delivery and conformity with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008 QMS standards.

Kelechi Uloh, Parkway’s Management Representative and Head, Human Capital, Risk & Compliance Management, explained that the recertification validates that our quality processes and systems meet specific criteria and recognizes the company for determining customer requirements, making informed decisions, and consistently providing its products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. ISO 9001:2008 QMS is not a regulation, it is entirely a customer demand.

 

It is all about raising the bar in quality service delivery, excellence operational approach and meeting customer, regulatory & statutory requirements, said Uzo Eziukwu, CEO Parkway Projects Limited, while receiving the recertification certificate.
